Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning for Mr. Augusta L. (Lee) Dye, 74, a Rawlins resident. She died at her trailer home at the Seminoe Boat Club early Monday Morning.
Mrs. Dye, 74, was born in St. Libory, Neb., Aug. 21 1898, and attended Nebraska schools. She came to Wyoming in 1918 and worked as a waitress in Cheyenne. She moved to Rawlins in 1936, where she also worked as a waitress.
She was married to O.L. (Shorty) Dye Nov. 1 1944 in Elko, Nev. She was a member of U.P. Old Timers, past president and member of the Eagles Auxiliary, and a member of the Seminoe Boat Club.
She is survived by her husband of Rawlins, one son, William Titus of Rialto, Calif.; one brother, Elmer Petersen of Rawlins, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Rasmusson-Shriner Mortuary with the Rev. Robert Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 7 p.m. today.
