Kristine was listed as Kirsten, 66 years old, born February 1834, born in Denmark, a widow, immigrated in 1873, in the US 27 years, and the mother of 4 children where 4 were still living. The children were: William 25 (b. Denmark!) and Mena 21 (b. NJ).

In the 1910 census, Kirsten was living with her daughter Annie Jorgensen's family at 103 State Street in Perth Amboy. She was listed as 75 years old, born in Denmark, a widow, immigrated in 1873, and the mother of 8 children where 7 were still living.

In 1915, Kirsten died at home at 103 State Street in Perth Amboy. She belonged to St. Stephens Danish Lutheran Church in Perth Amboy. She is buried in Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
